AVANTI session at Global Evidence and Implementation Summit (GEIS)

At the GEIS Summit, the AVANTI team shared the learnings, experiences and challenges that we have encountered so far with in supporting greater in-country monitoring and evaluation capacities. We shared and welcomed questions questions at the panel “Strengthening in-country systems & capacities to manage better for results”, hosted by Sara Savastano, Director of the Research and Impact Assessment Divison at IFAD.

In this panel, IFAD we also shared how we’ve embarked on a number of initiatives (AVANTI, PRiME & Delivery Units) aimed at enhancing its results’ architecture to achieve improved evidence-based management (see IFAD’s short video on recently approved Development Effectiveness Network at http://bit.ly/2pZURvj).
